Ein Früh­som­mer­abend beginnt mit einem Spiel: Wäh­rend ein Kind bis drei­tau­send zählt, ver­ste­cken sich die ande­ren in einer Rei­he von Vor­stadt­gär­ten. Das Spiel endet, wenn die Mücken aus dem Gras aufsteigen.

Bio­gra­phie
David Gašo (Osi­jek, 2000) has direc­ted seve­ral award-win­ning films and short works as a stu­dent at the Aca­de­my of Dra­ma­tic Art in Zagreb — his short film SHORT CUT GRASS pre­mie­red at the 69th Short Film Fes­ti­val in Ober­hau­sen and was later scree­ned at over twen­ty fes­ti­vals and allot­ted a series of awards, inclu­ding seve­ral cri­tics and audi­ence awards. His latest short film PEN­IN­SU­LA pre­mie­red at Locar­no Film Fes­ti­val in 2025. Curr­ent­ly deve­lo­ping his debut fea­ture titled HISTO­RY OF ILLNESS.
