Es wächst lang­sam wie ein Eis­zap­fen, der eines Tages fällt und zer­schellt. Anka liebt Kat­zen. Und Jesus. In der Stil­le des Win­ters friert die Lagu­ne zu und das Unaus­ge­spro­che­ne taucht wie­der auf, wie Ris­se im Eis. Mosa­ik­por­trät eines klei­nen Fischerdorfes.

Bio­gra­phie
Tomek Pop­akul gra­dua­ted from Lodz Film School in direc­tion, ani­ma­ti­on and spe­cial effects. His debut ZIE­GEN­ORT was shown at many fes­ti­vals around the world. Ano­ther pro­ject, ACID RAIN, gai­ned 35 awards, was shown at around 90 fes­ti­vals, got a pres­ti­gious nomi­na­ti­on for the Annie Awards, and was on the long list for the Oscars®. He crea­ted the short hybrid ani­ma­ti­on film MOON for the HBO pan­de­mic antho­lo­gy AT HOME. He col­la­bo­ra­ted with Kasu­mi Oze­ki on ACID RAIN, MOON, and now ZIMA.
