Tief im Innern des sagen­um­wo­be­nen Rha­bar­ber-Drei­ecks in York­shire ern­ten Jo und ihr alter Vater bei Ker­zen­schein die rosa Deli­ka­tes­se, wie schon ihre Vor­fah­ren vor ihnen. Doch sie sind nicht vor­be­rei­tet auf die Bedro­hung, die im Dun­keln lauert.

Bio­gra­phie
Kate McMullen grew up near Cam­bridge, on Pink Floyd’s Grant­ches­ter Mea­dows. Gra­dua­ted from Oxford, she moved to Paris and later to Shang­hai, whe­re she star­ted explo­ring film. Kate finds sub­ject mat­ter whe­re no one else is loo­king, and wea­ves wit and colour into strong world views. In her last short film, Litt­le Ber­lin (2021), Chris­toph Waltz nar­ra­tes the impro­ba­ble true sto­ry of a Ger­man bull sepa­ra­ted from his cows by the Iron Curtain in 1946.
