Virtual Reality Station
Dieser Wettbewerb stellt jedes Jahr außergewöhnliche Experiences für Virtual Reality vor. Dabei liegt der Fokus darauf, Vielseitigkeit und Experimentierfreude dieses neuen erzählerischen Werkzeugs abzubilden. Lediglich eine Beschränkung auf lineare Arbeiten setzt der Auswahl Grenzen. Darüber hinaus finden sich hier alle Formen von Spiel‑, Animations‑, Experimental- und Dokumentarfilmen, darunter sowohl 360°-Filme als auch echtzeitgenerierte 3D Experiences (6DoF).
Every year, this competition presents extraordinary experiences for virtual reality. With a focus on displaying the versatility and experimental nature of this new narrative tool, only a restriction to linear works limits the selection. Beyond that, all forms of live-action, animation, experimental and documentary films can be found here, both as 360° films and as real-time generated 3D experiences (6DoF).

LOOP
Ab dem Moment einer Erfahrung werden Erzählungen gesponnen. Im LOOP gehen wir von slowenischer Folklore nach LA, zu jungen Menschen in einer Erwachsenenwelt, die oft noch unreifer ist als sie selbst. Alle Filme bleiben ehrlich und versuchen, die vielfältigen Erzählungen in jedem erlebten Moment aufzudecken.
From the moment an experience is lived, narratives are spun. In our LOOP, we move from Slovenian folklore to LA to young people in an adult world, more immature than themselves. All films remain honest in attempting to unravel the multiple narratives hidden within each lived moment.

Shorts On Wheels
SHORTS ON WHEELS ist eine cineastische Fahrradtour durch Köln. An ausgewählten Orten halten wir an und machen weiße Wände zu Leinwänden. Das SHORTS ON WHEELS Herbstprogramm führt uns durch die Höhen und Tiefen unseres Selbst. Die äußere Welt nimmt in unserem Inneren andere Formen an und stößt auf unsere Gedanken, Wünsche und Gefühle. Dadurch ergeben sich neue Räume der Auseinandersetzung nach außen, stimmungsvoll aufgeladen
im filmischen Bild bei einer nächtlichen Fahrt durch die Stadt.
SHORTS ON WHEELS is a cineastic bicycle tour through Cologne. We stop at selected spots and turn white walls into silver screens. The SHORTS ON WHEELS fall program takes us through the ups and downs of our self. Within us, the outer world takes on different forms and happens across our thoughts, desires and feelings. This makes for new spaces of debate with the outside, atmospherically charged in the cinematic image during a nocturnal ride through the city.
