Das Kurz­film­fes­ti­val Bref fin­det jedes Jahr um den 25. April her­um statt, dem ita­lie­ni­schen Tag der Befrei­ung vom Nazi­fa­schis­mus, den wir mit Geschich­ten aus aller Welt über Wider­stand und sozia­le Kämp­fe fei­ern. Die­ses Pro­gramm ver­eint unse­re abso­lu­ten Lieb­lin­ge aus der jüngs­ten ita­lie­ni­schen Film­pro­duk­ti­on, mit diver­sen Blick­wei­sen auf Wer­te, Ethik, sozia­le Gerech­tig­keit und Iden­ti­tät – auf indi­vi­du­el­ler sowie auf gesell­schaft­li­cher Ebe­ne. Eine Rei­se durch Ani­ma­ti­on, Doku­men­ta­ti­on und Komö­die, denn auch Lachen ist wichtig!

The Bref Inter­na­tio­nal Short Film Fes­ti­val takes place every year around 25 April, the Ita­li­an day of libe­ra­ti­on from nazi­fa­scism which we cele­bra­te sha­ring sto­ries from all over the world about resis­tance and social fights. This pro­gram­me reu­ni­tes our very favo­ri­te recent Ita­li­an pro­duc­tions, with dif­fe­rent points of view on values, ethics, social jus­ti­ce and iden­ti­ty, both indi­vi­du­al­ly and as a com­mu­ni­ty. A jour­ney through ani­ma­ti­on, docu­men­ta­ries and come­dies becau­se laug­hing is important too!

All films not in the Eng­lish lan­guage will be scree­ned with Eng­lish subtitles.
