Bio­gra­phie
Born in 1993, Simon Panay has made four short docu­men­ta­ries in West Afri­ca. His short film NOBO­DY DIES HERE, shot in an ille­gal mine in Ben­in, has been scree­ned in 71 count­ries and won 133 awards. He con­ti­nues to explo­re the world of gold mining with IF YOU ARE A MAN, his first docu­men­ta­ry fea­ture film, released in thea­ters in 2023, and now in fic­tion with THE BOY WITH WHITE SKIN in 2024.
