David Fidal­go Omil, Fine Arts gra­dua­te, com­bi­nes cine­ma and art as a pro­mi­nent natio­nal ani­ma­ti­on direc­tor with a distinc­ti­ve style. His ani­ma­ted shorts—LETTERS TO SUPER­MAN (2016), HOMO­MA­QUIA (2019), SAND­WICH CAT (2022)—have scree­ned world­wi­de at SXSW, BAFI­CI, STUTT­GART, ANI­MA, GIFF, AFI FEST. Awards include Goya nomi­na­ti­on (2020), SXSW Audi­ence Award, Méliès d’Argent, Mála­ga Audi­ence Award, and two Mest­re Mateo awards from the Gali­ci­an Audio­vi­su­al Academy.
