Georg Til­ler is an Aus­tri­an film­ma­ker and artist who­se work moves bet­ween expe­ri­men­tal, essay­i­stic, and nar­ra­ti­ve cine­ma. Films such as Zaho Zay and White Coal explo­re histo­ry, memo­ry, and poli­ti­cal imagery, and have recei­ved inter­na­tio­nal accla­im. He is co-foun­der of Sub­ob­scu­ra Films, a Vien­na- and Paris-based pro­duc­tion com­pa­ny focu­sed on distinc­ti­ve auteur-dri­ven cinema.
