Bio­gra­phie

Olga Lucov­ni­co­va is a docu­men­ta­ry film­ma­ker and an aspi­ring rese­ar­cher in the field of audio­vi­su­al arts. She is of Mol­do­van des­cent but has cho­sen Brussels as her per­ma­nent living and working place, whe­re she is pur­suing a PhD at the KULeu­ven on the the­me of post-memo­ry and trau­ma of mili­ta­ry con­flicts in first-per­son cine­ma. Her film Nanu Tudor won the Gol­den Bear for best short film at the Ber­li­na­le and embark­ed on an impres­si­ve fes­ti­val track. Now Olga works on her first fea­ture documentary.
